    Opeth is easily one of my favorite groups in existence. They can go from doing growls and pure out gothic death metal sounds to mellow jazz infused melodies. In this song, well, in this album, they took a route I really enjoyed. A very retro feel of 70’s progressive rock. The ambience throughout the album is just phenomenal. Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree also helped put this album together with the group and you can hear a LOT of influence from his assistance.

    I personally prefer VX Ace but when I started with XP and liked the tilesets and whatnot, but VX Ace was a bit easier to use and to plugin outside materials, though I suck at the scripting side of things anyway.
