    First point I have to say. I absolutely LOVE what you did bringing back up Achika Masaki. She’s a maternal figure that earned the a place in the hearts of many fans and honestly seems to have faded into obscurity for the later incarnations past the movie Tenchi Muyo in Love. Resurrecting her character and delving into the thoughts and deeper notions of a new mother was something that just hit it home hard for me.

    The concept is plausible, and absolutely enjoyable. Ryoko discovering the box of letters and reading most of them, then realizing what she was doing was a huge buildup for the imminent feels that were blowing towards the plot like a typhoon.

    The argument and all the lines said that followed. That was the grand slam that was in the making since act 1 and no matter how prepared I was, it still hit and still stung. The roof scene(very reminiscent of Daughter of Darkness) was just perfect. The reactions and the mutual apologies were something that was for the most part absent in big moments, such as the slap. When they finally made up and read that last letter, I felt my heart tear a bit, but it was so worth it.

    Call it bleeding heart masochism.

    The last line was one that was a subtle reference to what would happen between the two(may need to put this in spoilers) Something that drove home the pairing that I being a Ryoko fan, have been rooting for for a long, long time.

    Also, the music you listened to, as well as your methods of method acting I give massive respect to, as they were your tools to completing This masterful Lullaby.

    I LOVE me some RahXephon. ^^ The ending does get pretty crazy. Evangelion tops it on “WTF did I just watch” endings, particularly the last 2 episodes of the show, but RahXephon is excellent and in my opinion stands very well on its own.

    I REALLY like this, Who. ooohhh

    Very interesting way of adapting it, I can definitely see the transition differences at play(your personal touch helped better the dialogue as well as the stage directions, too.) ^-^

    Every idea was kept, nothing really was “wrong” or out of place in the adaptation. The visual aspect is all that’s needed. I made a good choice in asking you to do this. :D Thank you so much for it and keep it up, your skills very good and I made the right call in letting you adapt this and I look forward to more as you’re able to do so. kiyonesmile1

    Not saying that they’re like completely different continuity, oh no, but they aren’t in the same form of presentation. Considering the majority of the people behind Tenchi save for Kajishima left afterwards, leaving the story to Kajishima. Originally it was several writers and minds behind it.

    To make it relative again, OVA 1 was what this opening song was made for.

    Again, they are in the same universe and continuation, but things changed drastically in the transition period.

    Ehh, that’s subjective in that regard. A “To each their own” notion. Considering the first OVA was a more space-centric story with the subplot of who he would pick. The second OVA was technically a different series.

    Again, up to you how to look at it, man. I still await to see what you concoct.
