The latest cast episode is here! (Some of you may notice it looks a little familiar, wink-wink, albeit with a bit of a facelift.)

Back from beyond the digital graaaaave!! woooo1

Dagon had to hop into a parallel universe to find bits and pieces of the long-lost Dualcast, but here it is! After much suturing, TLC, and good ol’ fashioned elbow grease, better than ever before…here’s Dualcast, reborn as an official Tenchicast! installment.

Tenchicast! Episode 38 offers some newer members a chance to shine along with some familiar voices going back to where it all started: OVA 1.

Okay trying to decide on getting either Ai Tenchi in Bluray for either $35-40 on Amazon, $34 on rightstuff or the Movie collection (Limited edition) $46 after shipping.

Well, “limited edition” might take precedence (though I recall that set from 2012, if it’s the same one it shows that they’re still floating around, I doubt they’re going to disappear entirely). Likewise, just judging by the diffuse nature of Tenchi fandom nowadays (there are still self-described fans who don’t know Ai even exists, let alone English dubbed), I don’t foresee Ai running out of copies either (movies have a bit more of a nostalgia appeal, probably).

You can’t go wrong either way imo (I’d get both eventually, if it’s one of those situations where you can only pick one at present). I’d lean more towards the movie set though, if I had to pick: Ai sold well enough from pre-orders and out of the gate, so it got the support it needed; it will be there waiting for you whenever you get around to it.

On the other hand, Ai’s cheaper, but not by much…and though it’s not a bad price for a mini-series on BD/DVD, you get all three movies on Blu-ray for just a little more money.

I just got it (Via Kindle), so who’s got it, and who doesn’t?

I haven’t bought it myself. Would you recommend this release? What do you most like about it so far? (Btw, don’t worry about spoilers for me, I’ve known the gist of what’s in these LN’s for a long time, but if including anything content-wise, please use spoiler tags for others.)

That’s interesting. I never realized that about Dual! or Saint Knight’s Tale. As far as one goes, what I meant was where should he end up in the world of Geminar after he and Asuka get sent there after 3I. Thanks again for the input. I had originally kind of thought of having Unit 01 go with them, but not sure how I’d work it out. I just thought Eva going berserker and brutalizing other Mechalords would be something interesting and a good drama point some time further into the story.

Oh, where they end up when they get there…idk, forest? You could have Shinji and Asuka end up different places, and start with Shinji trying to find her. Then maybe you could have him/they hear reports about an unknown seikishi, and piece together oh they must have found Unit 01, Unit 03, or something, and then they have to try and track it down, maybe even wrestle it away from the authorities or a gang of miscreants who happened upon it.
