lol indeed, & if you’re anything like me you’ll be forced to sing it aloud at some point just hopefully for you it doesn’t happen to be in a crowded public place…because people will stare…

This is hands-down, one of my favorite amv’s ever! (not just Tenchiamv’s, I mean amv’s period) Created by one of the legends of Tenchi amv’s (who has been a source of inspiration for my own amv-making pursuits)
samuraizylle, this work seamlessly combines two of my favorites: Mulan and Tenchi Muyo! [BBvideo 425,350]

lol 😆 & ur probably right mitsukilover, those guys seem to ‘know a guy’ for every occassion…
A bit more on topic with regards to the dangers of bootlegging, may I ask crazypackers fan, if your bootlegged copy of Universe looked like any of the pictures we already have in place (on the first page of this thread)? & do you still have those dvds? If you still have them & especially if they looked any different from any of the pics of examples of bootlegged dvds, posting a pic or two of said dvd’s could really help other potential buyers know what else to look for to avoid.
Entirely up to you though, don’t feel like you have to. After all, the best rule of thumb is to carefully study the originals–doesn’t matter entirely
howthey’re different, just that they are different where it counts. - March 19, 2012 at 5:42 PM

I forgot about this! Fortunately happened to stumble upon it the other day, thanks for posting Dagon! - March 19, 2012 at 12:19 AM

^lol no kidding! But regardless of how long they may take you to make, they look amazing! The ‘realistic’ Ryoko looks really good (as do they all) & the hotsprings Ryoko looks spectacular, looks very true to the style of the series (which I prefer, but that’s just me personally) - March 18, 2012 at 11:31 PM

rofl I can see the episode now, it would start off as every potential sale always does:
Rick: “How can I help you today?”
Customer: “I’m looking to sell my… complete set of Tenchi Muyo dvds. The set includes
alloav’s & universe series.” Rick (to camera): “I
reallywant these in my collection, but it sounds a little too good to be true. I gotta’ know if they’re the real deal.” Rick (to customer): “Let me call a buddy of mine, he’s an expert when it comes to this kinda’ stuff…”
*moments later, cut to parking lot
to camera: “Hello, I’m Dagon123, & I’m the creator, owner and administrator of Tenchiforum.com”
😆 Welcome packersfan! Wow a Tenchi panel? You know, if you felt so inclined to share anything about your Con experience afterwards, we certainly have threads for it! (& we looove pics, just to let u know) ^-^ The Ryoko fan in me can’t help but smile when I read about your ‘conversion’ lol, but it’s ok, I’ve always been a Ryoko fan, but I guess you could say I have a bit of a soft spot for the princess as well.
http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g463/wwwwhhhhoooo/Tenchiforum%20Banners/tengroup9.jpg " /> Ryoko fan, Ayeka fan…whoever said you couldn’t be both?hmm? what? all the laws of Tenchi fandom & the laws of the known universe, you say? Oh…I’m very intrigued to hear more about Sonia or any other research concerning the music of Tenchi if ever you feel like sharing. I love the opening to Tenchi (English and Japanese…come to think of it, the Spanish version is good too, wonder who does that???) & I agree with Dagon, with most anime dubs –*cough Funi– especially nowadays, it’s rare to hear not only an intro done in English, but translated so well keeping the same rhythm, and in the case of Universe, performed by the same individuals. Tenchi series as a whole were really good with that, & it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who picked up on that & appreciates it.
Glad to have you, enjoy your stay!
