    I…I absolutely love this. It’s adorable! It’s what could have been, how Ryoko would have behaved and treated Tenchi if she were able to fully interact with him from her confines in the shrine (right? something like that?).

    Ryoko having a relationship almost like a mother/son, or even big sister to a little Tenchi is one we were never able to truly see in the series. While Ryoko in astral form could observe Tenchi, she could not really interact with him as she so desperately wanted to. Reading this account is a wonderful re-telling of Tenchi and Ryoko’s first interactions with one another.

    And you have a great writing style, there’s some good unique turn of phrases/metaphors in here; a word or two seemed a little odd if this is to be an objective third-person author (like ‘stoked’) but I suppose it added color, made it more uniquely your own. But your pacing is excellent, I was able to take the time to read this at the pace it deserves, and your abilities are evident. A good balance of descriptive/dialogue which really helped shape the images of the scenery and characters in my mind very clearly. Well done, this is one fan of Ryoko that approves. Now tell me there is/will be more… pleeeease…

    While I’m generally good at distinguishing reality from fiction, Ryoko has had such a profound influence on me starting when I was just a kid, she really is my ideal woman, & it’s sometimes hard to not try to compare real-life women to her (predictably, they fall short but hey it’s Ryoko! She’s one of a kind!)

    But the fact that she’s so unique has taught me that there’s lots of ‘one of a kind’ girls out there, just gotta look, & even if they can’t be Ryoko, they can come close! ;)

    *But if Ryoko ever really did show up in real-life, all bets are off I’m going for her!

    My spanish is… respectable, lol (or at least was at one time) & from what I’ve heard watching some episodes en español, it’s very well done, & like English version whoever was behind spanish version even redid some songs (opening for sure) in spanish, managed to translate the meaning fluently while still retaining the musical rhythm of the original song. I was impressed.

    As far as Dual goes, if Dagon has other feelings on it that’s the way it goes. I can see what I imagine would be his point of view, it is Tenchicast, & there’s alot of material if we start including the multiuniverse of Kajishima, if we did Dual would have to do others such as SKT, GXP & so on.

    Sure, good spot I suppose. I like the dual idea. I myself don’t know much at all about it, but LW got a point, it’s a facet of Tenchi, prob might as well cover it at some point.

    I’d like to throw out as some suggestions, an episode about the music–everyone that loves Tenchi loves the music, whether you’re a Ryoko fan, Ayeka, Washu, doesn’t matter…

    Perhaps at some point–I for one would need to do more research–other dubs other than English. Like the Spanish dub, I believe Universe (idk about oav) was actually shown on tv in Mexico, Central America at some point, be interesting to get a perspective from that end (though I don’t know if anyone here has seen it on tv).

    People can just bring up their favorite character(s) from series & why, or fav episodes

    guess that’s all I got for now :D

    *somebody correct if I’m wrong:

    High elves & Brentons are good with magic, if you want to go with being a mage. High elves are best with magic, but Brentons are more resistant to magic, so I like that race (only within the confines of a game in a fictional universe should one say which race they prefer lol…serial)

    Orcs are good with melee weapons, heavy armor, fighting that sort of thing. Khajiit good with stealth & pickpocketing. Argonians…um, well they look cool & can breathe underwater…

    Redguard have high stamina

    Darkelves naturally resistant to fire

    Woodelves good with archery

    But it doesn’t matter which one you pick & what path you end up going down, some, like orcs are going to naturally be better with melee but you can be an orc mage if you want, doesn’t matter.

    Anyone else wanna’ say what race/class they prefer/why? Oblivion, Skyrim, heck Morrowind?

    13 bucks, can’t pass that up. I think you’ll enjoy it, but like LW said, make sure you have some time to devote to it before you get started! That goes double if/when you get Skyrim
