So judging by this post’s content and the title, let’s consider this a GXP (the anime) appreciation/discussion thread.
One I’ve caught myself saying over and over again through my adult years, usually in jest but, in all seriousness, also when I need a kick in the pants for any life situation, large or small:

Oh, another goody speaking of Yosho: I forget exactly when, but when he talks of cultivating the mind, spirit, and the soul, and emphasizes how “we must always cultivate the soul.”
