Yeah I forgot about inflation. But still, last year I saw a Tenchi in Tokyo complete set going for 54 dollars. I think that the stores are just looking to get rid of all the leftover Geneon stuff.

Does 88 dollars for an original brand new tenchi universe collection sound reasonable? or too little? I am buying that soon as well.

I think that 88 dollars might be a little too much.

I got my Tenchi Universe complete collection set for about 54 dollars from an FYE store back in 2008.

Then again different stores have different prices.

You know that you are a Tenchi fan when you start looking around your backyard hoping to find a cave with a space pirate in it.

Too bad that wasn’t added to episode 19 of the OVA. 👿

    More Yugi.

This is from the preview of episode 11 of Tenchi in Tokyo. However in episode 11, Yugi never sits like she does in the preview for the episode.

Big O…I vaguely remember that one… waaay back on Toonami. I remember giant robots fighint, which was cool, & I think it had a complex story as well, one that didn’t catch my 10 year old’s attention very much, but perhaps if I revisited it now I’d have a much better appreciation for it.

It’s one of those shows that people tend to either love it, or they tend to hate it.

    Big O

I really enjoyed watching this anime when it was on Toonami.

For those who don’t know Big O is about a city called Paradigm City. 40 years ago everyone lost there memories.

The search for what happened 40 years ago involves cool characters and giant robot fights.

Design-wise the show looks more like an American cartoon then a Japanese anime.

Big O was never popular in Japan, and it only got a second season because it did well in American, but that sadly wasn’t enough to get it a third season.
