I agree with both of you that the world needs more Nagi fanart. And so, I present to you my very first piece of Tenchi fanart!
I spent about 25-30 minutes on this last night. I may consider going back and coloring it later.

Surprise Q&A continuation! They apparently ended the Q&A early yesterday because they hit the Tumblr posting limit
😆 . So they answered a few more this morning. Not much of note was answered but here’s a few interesting ones, especially that second one. A new TIE perhaps?
😉 . Either way, new footage of TOM, Sara, and the Absolution is always a good thing. That bit about Splinter Cell and IGPX music is some interesting trivia as well. Had no idea they used some of the same music.Quote:
– So is the Q&A over with? You guys haven’t answered a question since 11:30.Sorry, evidently Tumblr has a new 225 post per 12 hour limit!– When you have the money for these type of thing, will you make a short of TOM fighting off other ships or him landing in a new planets, etc?We certainly will! We have a few things we’re working on…– I asked this before (should of waited for stuff like this) but are you going to repeat any movies from movie night?
Movies won’t be repeated any time in the immediate future.– Tom, do you ever wonder if your existence(what you say and do) is not in your control, but in the control of some animators at a studio in Atlanta?
TOM: That’s just crazy. That doesn’t even make any sense! Hahahahahaha.– First off thanks for coming back! You guys finally gave me something to look forward to every weekend! Especially with SAO and One Piece! One question I’ve always had with IGPX, the soundtrack for that is the same as the game Splinter Cell Chaos theory right?! I’ve literally hear the same songs in both!
IGPX uses music from the label “NInja Tune,” and the Splinter Cell soundtrack is by the artist Amon Tobin, and was put out on that label. So yes, some of the same songs are in each!– Can you tell us the story behind the Dropship review from back in the day? Who played it, how did you find out about it, why did you decide to review it… And did you ever get past the sixth level?
That was written out of Jason’s frustration with the game. He decided it might be fun if TOM himself couldn’t finish the game either. And no, he never beat it!– How are you guys going to handle the One Piece episodes without ending songs?
If it’s plot related we’ll try to make sure nothing gets cut and we just go over time. We’ll deal with them on a case by case basis.

A few highlights from this month’s Toonami Tumblr Q&A: – Cowboy Bebop is leaving the lineup because they’re losing the rights. But they’re confident it’ll come back eventually, and when it does it will be the HD Bluray remaster.– FLCL will only be getting one run for now. They’re also trying to get the HD masters for the show.
(So that means it is just a placeholder for… something. What, exactly, remains to be seen. We’ll have to wait until the end of November to find out.)
– The ratings for the 2nd Season of The Big O were not lackluster. They just wanted to give it a break.
– Current most requested shows: Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto Shippuden, and Toriko.
(No surprises here except for Toriko. I didn’t think it was all that popular, but it’d be interesting to see a show like that on the block.)
– Expansion into the earlier hours of Saturday is possible if ratings stay high.– Remember that Toonami comic that was announced a while back to give TOM5 a backstory? They’ve finally finished writing it, now they just need to find someone to draw it.
– FLCL will be getting its own promo. Can they top
?Adult Swim’s excellent original promo– For those who don’t know, AS and CN both have live webstreams now (on their respective websites). The Toonami crew confirmed that watching the stream DOES count towards the ratings.– They’re looking into both Attack on Titan (surprise, surprise
🙄 ) and GITS: Arise () – They’re willing to air hour-long shows and odd-length OVAs.(This opens up the possibility of both Geminar and the Tenchi OVAs showing up at some point
) – There *might* be another movie night before the end of the year
😎 – They never had any plans for a 3rd Season of IGPX. It was always intended to end within 2 Seasons.
– The Toonami crew is still doing all of this FOR FREE in their spare time. These folks deserve a pat on the back. Seriously. Thats some serious dedication.- September 29, 2013 at 2:38 PM

They… wanted an excuse to give him a cameo? I’m just relaying what I’ve heard regarding what Origins will cover. I could be wrong, an honestly I’d LOVE to be wrong this time. I’m just trying not to let my (already high) expectations for this get out of hand, which would just be setting myself up for potential disappointment.
I don’t want you to think I’m just trying to burst your bubble or anything.

They’re only telling the story through Brock’s gym. Theres no way they could squeeze the whole game into only 4 episodes. - September 26, 2013 at 11:17 PM

!Lineup changes incomingIGPX gets doubled-up for a night to end 1 week earlier (same night as Bebop and Big O). FLCL takes 2:30 where IGPX was. IGPX then gets a rerun replacing Bebop, FMA gets bumped up to replace Big O, and GITS takes FMA’s old spot.
Also, a new on-air segment where TOM answers fan questions!
