The old Geneon DVDs shouldn’t be too hard to find. Last I checked, Rightstuf still had
In Lovein stock. But Geneons DVDs were pretty poor quality and letterboxed if I remember right. FUNi’s will most likely be Anamorphic and superior in quality if they don’t screw up the DVD authoring. - November 11, 2012 at 3:16 PM

TiT was actually delayed to the 20th several weeks ago. But as is usually the case, Rightstuf has already reserved my copy way early, and it would’ve shipped out already too if it wasn’t in the same order as the OVA set

She also had a role in Serial Experiments Lain, but that and Tenchi are indeed her only animation roles (that I’m aware of). - November 10, 2012 at 12:18 AM

Honestly, I’m not fond of online manga scanlations (and by extension unofficial anime streams and fansubs) because, y’know… its illegal.- November 9, 2012 at 11:43 PM

How long do the rights to titles last before some other network can grab them up?
And is this just for the States or would it include Cartoon Network’s overseas franchises?
So many questions about the whats and ifs about Tenchi getting back to Toonami now that
GXP is scheduled to make an appearance.
Haha… no. They don’t have the rights anymore. CN’s rights to Tenchi expired way back in 2002, when they removed it from Toonami’s lineup.
This is only for the States as far a GXP broadcast rights are concerned. AS/CN can’t share rights to licensed programs with their overseas counterparts. Typically, FUNi (or any other company) only ever acquire North American TV/DVD rights when they license shows. Foreign networks would need to go to whoever has the license for their own region (if anyone has it).

^ Thats a good point. My reasoning was Blood-C, which is already planned for a January release, was also announced during last summer’s con season. That show is only 12 eps., but I figured afew months after that would be enough, but with FUNi its always hard to tell. - November 8, 2012 at 5:53 AM

^ Not yet. They’ve hit episode 10 with their streams, so they’re almost done. January solicitations are already out, so February is the earliest it could be released, but I think a March or April release is more realistic, but thats just my opinion. - November 7, 2012 at 7:25 PM

I finished the old TV series today. I enjoyed most of it, but the ending was…lackluster, to say the least.Hellsing- November 2, 2012 at 12:55 AM
