I think the constellation is 1.3 million polies at lod 0… incredible is all I can say. I’m used to work with ships that max out at 1200 polies.
But yeah the mod features should be robust if they make good on what they’ve been saying.
Ultimately they have said that they are going to use the Cytek sandbox editor that is already
in place, so if you really want to get going ahead of time, just download the SDK.
I’ve been meaning to, but just haven’t had time.
Right now we’re look at the hanger module being released in the next couple weeks if I recall.
The alpha dogfight thing won’t be till the end of the year.
We could certainly use some help. Right now we’re still suffering with the FS2 engine. I don’t want
to commit to SC, and then find out it flops… so we’re still FS2 based for right now.
If anything I need help getting models lightly rigged, like weapon points, dock points, etc.
We have old game models from the original source game finally. Which admittedly are low poly and
aged, but it’s something to get playable. We’ve got a fair number of higher poly items, but they are not textured, so I’ve been concentration on using the old stuff for the time being to get a demo made.

I’m already in there, and may be moving my mod there in the future. Joined the Sanctuary Republic clan for it, as I knew a couple people in it already.
I’ve got a constellation and 350R package…
[SR] JGZinv or in game “Zinv” at your service.

🙂 At con:
http://tenchiforum.com/v3.0/ohayocon2013/DSC00044.jpg 3D modeled from the line arts and multiple screen caps, printed a full scale one capable of holding electronics and a custom made blade mount. It is the correct scale all over. Also made a couple mini ones that are more Ayeka sized. I lost a mini tenchi-ken the first day of Ohayocon *tears*
Now for the bad news, the blade wiring broke the 1st night of Ohayocon. The sound board I ordered wouldn’t work at the last second so I had to work with what I had and totally rewire and solder everything, which was a disaster. I kid you not I was working 12 hour shifts, coming home and sanding into the whee hours every day. The electronics mess happened the weekend before the con. So the wiring job was weak, thus it broke. Tis why the first 1 or 2 segments of the blade isn’t lit in the at con picture.
But it got plenty of looks during the Tenchi panel, and the dealers were pretty fond of it.
If I ever have the heart to break it apart to fix the wiring, I might put the correct sound board back in.
I’d also like to get a wireless charging system added, and tweak the buttons (lit gems) to have more blade and sound modes.
So while it ultimately broke, it was a learning experience. If I ever make a Mk. II, you can be sure it’ll kick butt. But then again… I could always make Ryoko’s light sword instead.

Ya know boss, we should really talk about 3D printing one of these days. You’ve been out for a while, but you might want a look at my tenchi-ken.

Oh so if I made a return trip to Acen, I could meet the Harls himself in the flesh… :Cheeks:

Don’t know about the atoyot section concerning Funi being in there, but otherwise that was pretty special. - August 18, 2013 at 4:32 AM

Well I finished Durarara!!, Black Heaven, and Zero no Tsukishima in one day… Short version-
Durarara – watch. Would certainly hope they get a S2.
Black Heaven- substantial VA pedigree, content is a lot different from the box or opening.
Not sure if I care for the ending though or blondie space temptress. Viva la Mitsuki.
Zero- Anime Planet has this as the #2 most suggested thing for fans of Toradora.
Honestly it’s similar yes, but really it is far less believable and the characters are a lot less relatable.
Mix a watered down harry potter with random annoying tsundere anime.. you got it.
It’s… ok as to being an anime, but easily predictable and ultimately a zero.

Going to have to get a much clearer (preferably larger too) scan of the text if you want anything done with that. The characters are too smeared for my eyes to even tell much difference in them.

Eh just look for the Dual! cosplayers or Dagon… we should be fairly easy to spot. Or call one of us, I’ll shoot you a PM with my cell #.
