Copy me on it so I can take a look for looks sake. I once read the plot of a few of them so I know what I’m in for at least. I can always toss them up on photobucket if we have to. - December 2, 2012 at 12:36 AM

Here’s a nice old fan page with some stuff and scans. http://www.maison-otaku.net/~nuriko/tenchi/ Kiyoka ought to like that one.
And here’s a look at one of the really old Animerica issues on Tenchi (1994!)

I’m going to drop this site here. It’s a Japanese fan site mostly for Ryoko… lots of oldie moldie pictures and info.
Good for some new icons Dagon *wink wink*
You’ll need to use Google or one of the other translation sites. Pictures are broken
unless you use archive.org

Yeah the manga really is a work onto it’s own and fixes a lot of the shortcomings of the OVA and simply does a much better job overall of introducing new characters and keeping the core cast the core cast while still having plausible problems.
You get a bit further into it and you’ll see where KM had to have copied from it as a way to get back at Okuda for all his poking at the OVA. Yet he still managed to screw it up lol.
My only gripe was Ryoko being often referred to as a manufactured thing, like a robot. As a Ryoko fan that kinda bites the bum cheeks. The second series ending is kinda funky as well.
Really need to run through this again too sometime along with ISM and GXP before the con. Arrgh… need a time distortion field!

Just as a note to chuck and dagon, I’ll be on a little later in the afternoon in mumble to try and work on a starter outline for my part of the panel and start getting some of the images and video together. - November 20, 2012 at 11:59 PM

We might be able to from the RRI, as we get free wifi but I imagine it’ll be saturated. - November 20, 2012 at 6:00 AM

We’d probably try live casting it… but honestly the con/hotel makes you pay out the nose for Wifi, and the only thing I’ve ever heard from any con… is that it’s “slow and sucks” so… not conductive to running a video stream through it. - November 19, 2012 at 5:52 AM

We will be recording from the panel… or whatever we end up doing if we’re not approved. - November 16, 2012 at 3:54 PM

DualFans is also getting hit by this pretty heavily, and I’m seeing it on a lot of other forums in the last 3 weeks. Batten down the hatches lads, a bot storm be upon us.
