  • Never work as I can’t see any situation where Washu would let herself get caught like that to begin

with so that she would end up dead. She thinks these things through to the Nth degree. It would be

hard to pull a fast one on her.

OTOH even if one of her inventions went gaga on her she always has some sort of failsafe handy.

No like I said unlikely to happen.

If you want to kill off one of the girls it has to be Mihoshi since she is one accident away from the

Pearly Gates every time she wakes up.

I like that.It makes a whole lot of sense.Especially Tenchi originally mistaking Ryoko’s ship for an

    airplane.Good job.Susano gets a gold star. mmhmm1

lot of catching up here for me:

Day 1:…uhm…I don’t know…the one that I really knew was anime would be Silent Mobius

on Anime Unleashed though before that I had seen parts of the first season of Digimon on FOX.

Day 2: Again with Silent Mobius I’m a ToohruxYuki fan.Though I am also a InuyashaxKagome

    fan on Inuyasha.

Day 3: I’ll go with anything composed by the great Yoko Kanno.

Day 4: Age wise it would have to be Misato from Neon Genesis Evangelion she’d be cool to hang out with as long as she didn’t get too drunk.Though I would also like to be friends with

    Ami/Sailor Mercury as well.

Day 5:Well I think I have overcome the embarrassment of being a Magic Girl fan by now!But when

I started watching shows like Wedding Peach and Sailor Moon I did feel a bit embarrassed that I enjoyed them…but I got over that now.

    Read or Die:

    Mihoshi as Yomiko

    Kiyone as Nancy

    Tenchi as Joker

    Ryoko as Drake

I’m pretty main stream in my comic book tastes though I haven’t bought any American comics for a long while now.My collection is the usual DC and Marvel stuff.Currently going through and re-reading

    the ’90s Supergirlseries.

Superman comics are something that I’ve read since I was a kid,I didn’t get into Marvel until

    the 1990s.

Got a lot of Star Trek from both companies over the years especially The Early Voyages.

I think though now with the success of Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter if I ever do get back into the hobby it probably be Marvel with something like Captain America.

Kirk’s eulogy at Spock’s funeral at the end of The Wrath of Khan is probably the best way of

    remembering Leonard Nimoy.

Another great passage from the same movie spoken by Spock himself just before he dies:

    “I have been…and always shall be….your…friend.”

The problem of course is that a lot of anime end up being genre busters in that they can be placed under more than one genre.

For example is Escaflowne a mecha series with a fantasy setting or a fantasy series that includes mecha?

Another key example is Fushigi Yugi:is it a magic girl series that takes place in an alternate

fantasy world or is it a fantasy with magic girls thrown in?And does the fact that Yui and Miaka are

    priestesses make them magic girls?

Any way you put it sometimes it’s just hard to pindown certain shows as to whether or not they

are or aren’t Magic Girl shows(for a good instance of how hard it is sometimes look at the list they have up at the Magic Girl Wiki…anyone ever think Ikki-tousen would qualify as such?)

Any ways just my ten cents worth which with inflation makes them about $19.95+tax=$33.45

    Canadian! 😆 😆 😆

I was going to say I finally started Princess Tutu and the only thing that was a bit jarring was

Ahiru’s voice even after she transformed into Princess Tutu, until I remembered she’s a DUCK!

Rue is very elegant. Can’t wait to see more of her. iloveit1

Meh…for some reason the stupid computer didn’t want to play that clip right.
Noizimi and Discotek would be the best chance of getting Dual back again. I doubt Funi would be much interested.
The big question with any new continuity is are you making it a reboot or a completely new series?

In a reboot you keep the original characters but maybe give them a bit of a facelift like the Abrams’

Star Trek.In a completely new series you start from scratch.
