I am also still getting the X’s in the manga reader. I’m running the latest firefox (27.0), and Windows 8.1 (64bit). I’ve Ctrl+F5’d the page, but still nothing.
Did you try clicking on the ‘X’ itself? Or the page, might work.
Also, not a bug but on the note of the manga, I’m looking through the Okuda manga from the beginning and wondering is all of Volume 1 there? Because if Volume 2 follows Volume 1, it just seems like narrative-wise there are some big gaps between the two (same thing between two and three, I realize the Magical Girl Pretty Sammy one is it’s own thing, but Volume 2 didn’t really seem to wrap up).
Seems our copy of Simpleviewer has a hard limit of 50 pages per active gallery, even though on my end I see everything fine from the backend as the rest of each issue is uploaded and attached to the page. Hopefully we can get this fixed soon.
In the meantime, Dagon was able to replicate the Firefox “X” issue but I still can’t. We have a few ideas on what may be the problem but it will be difficult to test with just one pair of eyes and hands.

We hit our first milestone today, we are now over 10% complete with book one! Still an absurdamount of work to be done with converting the text and then cleaning it up to proper English. Yet, what we’ve read so far… everyone’s in for a hell of a ride. evilpii wrote:Nil Admirari wrote:(
Simpleviewer Firefox issues) Seems to be working at last in Firefox, albeit with slightly different behavior than its Chrome counterpart. Let us know if you’re still seeing the X errors. I am still seeing “X” where the images should be in Simpleviewer with Firefox under both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 13. I have used CTRL+F5 to force a reload, but this does not seem to help.
Really? I see it as this on my desktop (Win 8, latest Firefox) and laptop (Win 7, latest Firefox)

Kiyofacepalm1 ( Login remembering) Tested in latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and the Steam Web Browser (based off of Chrome’s version of Webkit), so it should be good to go for everyone. kiyonesmile1 (

Day 1 of the campaign has started off rather slow, but we did get one notable response/mention. http://i.minus.com/ibnTNWKwfCWYOk.png" /> Yes, that is the official Meow (of Space Dandy fame) twitter account.

For me, this is a tie between Yakage/Minage and Lady Yume. Yakage’s whole plotline was greater than he was as a villain but I feel like it would have worked in animated form. Yume is a great rival for Washu, far greater than Clay even. - February 8, 2014 at 6:43 AM

I’ve had the problem since the start of the week, so whatever was preventing me from being logged out in the first few days has reverted. - February 6, 2014 at 9:19 AM

While i’m certainly a little saddened the rest of the household is gone (for the time being), Chapter 4 sets up a large time frame for Tenchi to live with his two betrothed loves without external pressure or interruption. This presents us with more intimate (no not that kind Ryoko, settle down) scenes for the three to develop their relationship together. In a way, I’m reminded of the mature Ayeka and Ryoko living scenario in TMiL2 – putting aside their differences while still occasionally batting at each others’ heels all for the man they love. Not much to say in the way of critical feedback, perhaps that Ayeka was too trusting of Ryoko and Washu’s plan too soon with not enough details. She’s seen enough of Washu’s experiments go wrong to possibly warrant further inspection into the idea before agreeing to drag Tenchi into some contraption. But a minor hitch in the overall plot and for pacing reasons still works to have her agree almost without delay.
But will home life for our three lovebirds continue to go so well? What can go wrong, will go wrong. Will it?
