Any idea of the name/link to the shop and a rough date of when they were available?

March 23, 2015 is when last checked they were available, the earliest I know of when the stuff was available was March 19 , 2015. The site where the merchandise came from was: ai-tenchi.jp

    The Link

    http://www.ai-tenchi.jp/goods/index.html” class=”bbcode_url”>http://www.ai-tenchi.jp/goods/index.html

I would not be interested, at least not for a long while, but it’s possible you could crowd fund copies for scanning.

Other sites may also be interested if you posted the crowdfund links there too, although here is the obvious choice for a headquarters.

Old series material like Tenchi, is hard to come by. Even if a crowdfund was started, a full genuine copy would be still hard to find. Also if a copy is acquired, you’re still going to destroy something people paid money for just to read it something they already watched. Don’t get me wrong, I would like the idea of everyone pitching in for a raw novel, but is it really worth it in the end if there is nothing new or groundbreaking info from it?

I’m sure we can either google or wayback machine them. Someone would have saved them!

I checked for the site, it’s not there anymore. Couldn’t find any pictures of any merchandise online and rightstuff doesn’t carry any Ai products.

Punchline was good and it’s getting an extension in manga form, and the visual novel game if it does good, it might get adapted as another anime, like fate / stay series was sorta.

You guys might be intereted in the thread I just made about adding merch and stuff to the Tenchi Wikia. It would make collecting a lot easier, and you can window shop much easier too ;)

Some of the Ai merchandise is exclusive to the city of Takahashi, like the dvd or fans. Also I think that the site that sold this merch stopped existing and the pictures of the stuff is gone.

    Just an idea of organizing

    Tenchi / Dual / Moldiver / El-Hazard / Pretty Sammy / Photon

Subsections of Tenchi: OVA / Universe / Tokyo / Ai / GXP / Geminar

I went with series in subsections because going by continuities or who was behind it: Negishi or Kajishima, gets confusing.

The categories the merchandise can be ordered under what kind of material it is: doujins, manga, novels, games, etc.

Then under what order it came out.

Just trying to help give a start.

To be honest, when I first saw Kagato in the panel, I started to think it was a joke comic strip made by a fan. It’s kinda of weird seeing Kagato being made into a joke, even though Negishi had written the story. I think another nod would be Tsunami, I don’t think she has been mentioned in Universe nor been given physical appearance.

The honorifics are not that big a deal, but you could put in a note somewhere defining them just in case.

He might be busy, but JGZinv could help you out in finding the games. He is a finder and buyer, he might have one of the games or a list in his collection or selling threads.
