    ok, here’s my first contribution (or, plan of one, written down anyways):

    Let’s say after we’ve been approved for panel…we’ll definitely want to get the word out! So, promotional video route! (?) Dagon voicing would be best (imo) but with everyone busier than heck, I’ll just throw my hat in the ring ahead of time & say I’d be willing to take a stab at it (voice too, if Dagon/JG don’t have time) if that’s what would work best (or whomever would like to/has means).

    LOL Very well done, Greg! I can totally hear TotalBiscuit reading this! 😎

    In actuality, I find that whenever LORE does a video for a series/video game, summarizing something epic in such a short time span really is taking a jab at that particular series (at least it feels that way to me, I mean if you’re a hardcore fan of whatever it is they’re “LORE-ing” you’re left with a feeling of “well…you just summarized years of my life in under two minutes! Thanks alot” lol) yet therein of course lies the humor, hopefully it’s meant for people that have already seen/played ‘x’, not someone googling some show they heard about & wanting to try to devour the essence of the program without digesting or savoring it (food analogies…I must be hungry).

    tl;dr: they’re like ‘super spoilers’ if viewed by someone unfamiliar with the subject matter.

    But just thinking it over more as I write, it’s the viewer’s choice to have something spoiled for them. I mean, one could find a simplified plot for anything online, minus the humor and wit of LORE.

    FINAL VERDICT: If this were to be done, I think you hit the nail on the head Greg! 😆

I’ve gone in alot of places here and there on the forum and fixed them, if I have time I’ll do the same here but it’s looking like some of the links are dead anyway (vids have been removed, i.e. youtube strikes again) so hopefully talking about them will be good enough![/mod]

    Glad you brought up Trigun, Gonzo. Great soundtrack, and I will always remember it well due to the loud electric guitar rift at the halfway mark waking me up when I sometimes fell asleep as a kid watching it late on TV 😆

    Another opening I am absolutely ecstatic about is Baccano! It’s just fun, no two ways about it. Loud, brash, energetic, fast-paced music reminiscent of the ‘gangster/rum runner feel’ of Prohibition-era America (by Makoto Yoshimori) gets you hooked right from the first viewing. It also reminds me alot of opening of Cowboy Bebop (may be a bit of an homage? speculation) which, for lack of better words, just makes it feel classy as an anime.

    Fun to do ‘what if’s’ (realistic or otherwise) but if I were a bettin’ man (which I ain’t) the more I think about it (considering Funi’s aptitude to use in-house talent) I’d wager Caitlin Glass will be among the cast (August 27th, 2012, I’m calling it people!)

    Man, I’d go all for Chris Sabat, buuuut just to try to throw other names out there, umm…

    Kent Williams? (Has amazing “presence” and authority to his voice, though not as deep as Sabat)
