    I haven’t seen Kaleido Star. Is it worth watching? And I love Princess Tutu! Have fun watching it! ^_^ (I would say more about it but I’m afraid I would spoil it lol)

    Sailor Moon is a show that can hit different people in so many different ways and when a anime can do that and move so many people and stands firm even after 20 + years of fame its certainly wonderful.

    As for Madoka Magica it certainly catches my attention and makes me feel very strongly for the characters and what they have to go through. This is one of the first animes where its very difficult for me to choose a favorite character because I see some traits that I have in myself in each of the girls and a couple of the girls I very much relate to so it’s really hits me deep sometimes emotional. The show has beautiful art and a very symbolic way of showing deep messages and that something that doesn’t happen to often in anime now a days.

    I haven’t seen Sakura Wars since I was a kid. O.0 probably something I should try to get back into.

    I love Wedding Peach as well. Found it at my local library years ago and its one of my top favorites and Momoko is also my favorite from Wedding Peach with Daisy as a close second. :)

    Sailor Moon was a huge part of my childhood so its a show that’s very dear to me with Venus as my favorite because of nostalgia I feel whenever I watch Sailor Moon especially a episode focused on Sailor V / Minako.

    As far as Magical Knights Rayearth goes that’s a show I personally couldn’t really get into. I liked it at first but for some reason I really can’t say way just one day I just didn’t really enjoy it anymore. It wasn’t a bad show or anything I just couldn’t get into it anymore. I guess my mind just wasn’t in the right set for it.

    Tokyo Mew Mew I enjoyed a lot. I very much enjoy the transformations and their attacks a lot! I think Mew Ichigo is my favorite though I love Mint and Zakuro as well.

    I guess I’ll use this topic to talk about one show at a time to make it a little more easier to make conversation.

    First up is a show I think most of us on this forum have seen and if you haven’t it does deserve to be seen.

    Madoka Magica has become extremely popular due to what really lies behind the pretty transformations and sparkly powers. It takes a light hearted stereotype and smashes it to pieces and I’m guess this how being a shoujo mahou would “realistically” be like. I won’t say much on it due to being spoilers for people who haven’t seen this anime yet but I would like to know everyone’s opinion of this show? Overrated and hyped up? Or deserves the place in the anime world that it has for being groundbreaking?

    I have to say I can’t really seem to choose a favorite character because the all have such beautiful development. SPOILER- (even though Mami wasn’t around very long she had a big change in just a few episode) and in a way they all pretty relatable to how people react to certain things differently and how they all seem to have peices of personalitys that we all have in us somewhere.

    So what do you guys have to say about Madoka Magica?

    From disappointed to excited again my feelings for this just keeps going all over the place. I really like the design of the girls! I’m loving the new outfits though they look like lingerie their sexy enough to pull it off so who cares! Only complaint is the marking on ayeka is cool but its a bit much but that’s no big deal because OMG THE ORIGINAL GIRLS!!! soawesome1
