    Lol, we’ve already got several jokes going on that front. My favorite is Nil’s idea for the unofficial series sub-title: “Tenchi Muyo Love: Hot For Teacher!” 😆

    Gonna go out on a limb a bit and say I’m actually pretty okay with the new designs. Obviously, they’re a far cry from the great classics, but at least they aren’t generic blobs like most modern designs! Also, I am beyond thrilled to have Negishi back at the helm! Here’s hopping we have an August to remember in Tenchi fandom!

    *Just gets around to noticing this thread only now (sorry, but I am in Spain after all)*

    Anyway, I really like this concept of a “month of work” dedicated to your story! I hope it turns out to be a worthwhile endeavor!     This song is a very special one for me because it was the first piece of music I heard when I had my “musical awakening.” For the first half of my life I really didn’t listen or care about music at all. I was aware of the groups and songs that were popular with my peers, of course, but I had no personal connection with music. All that changed one night at a church sponsored lock-in I attended in junior high. I borrowed my mom’s iPod to occupy my time after everybody had gone to sleep, and I randomly selected a playlist innocuously titled “80’s music.” I literally spent the next six hours in abject astonishment as song after song, album after album, poured into my head and completely changed my world. The bands and songs I listened to that night (Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, U2, Jars of Clay, etc.) have stuck with me all these years, and radically altered the way I look at the world of music and art, but it all started with this one song, that one night…
