    Lol, I agree with you that they should have just kept the term Seikishi. It fits, and they wouldn’t have to worry about the lip flap issue! I’m also glad to FINALLY see a trailer for WoG that doesn’t make it look like a goddam hentai! My wallet is definitely going to hate me, but I think I will go ahead and pre-order the SE sets, cause I’m really starting to crave this show!

    I like this voice cast more and more every time I hear it! I do wish FUNi would release a clip with Aura in it, as I now really want to hear how her voice fits in with the rest of the cast. Oh, and they’re calling the pilots “sacred mecha-masters” in the dub…. that seems like a really cheesy/lazy translation to me, at least from this clip. “Seikishi” means “machine-warrior” if I’m not mistaken, which is pretty close to mecha-master, but I just think that they could have come up with a more imaginative, or less cheesy term. Eh, whatever, I’m still thrilled by how well the whole package is coming together.

    Me neither! Ever since I heard that Shane Black was directing it I have been super stoked! His previous collaboration with Robert Downey Jr. produced one of my favorite movies of all time: Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. If you guys haven’t seen that movie yet….. OMG just watch it. Seriously, cancel your appointments, clear your calendar for the next two hours and treat yourself to one of the funniest, wittiest, best casted movies you will ever see!

    Lol, anyway, back to Iron Man 3. I am most interested in seeing Sir Ben Kingsley’s performance as the baddie, The Mandarin, especially since I think Sir Ben is one of the finest actors alive today.

    Ah yes, the mitsu story is indeed a real tear jerkerer. Hmm… Other than that (and outside the manga, lol) I would have to say the “death” of Ryoko in TU. It literally brought tears to my eye… when I was 10 years old. Today though, its gotta be that previously mentioned scene, Ryoko/Ayeka’s reaction to Tenchi’s “death” in OVA 1, and the whole tragic story of Haruna in TMiL:2.

    Well, it has been exactly one year to the day since I joined this forum, and it has been one hell of an experience! I’ve made some great friends and been introduced to some amazing anime along the way, and after all this time I am STILL excited everytime I log on! I continue to love Tenchi Muyo! in all its many forms, and I have high hopes for its future. But this is a bio thread, and things have certainly changed in my life during this last trip around the sun. In May I will graduate from University with Departmental Honors and Suma Cum Laude. I have been accepted into some of my country’s top law schools, and have numerous awards and scholarships under my belt. Most importantly of all, however, I have a strong sense of purpose going forward and a firm command of my future. I truly believe that this year will be even more fruitful than the last, and I look forward to sharing it with you guys every step of the way! So to all of you that I’ve met here, either in person or online, I say thank you for enriching my life and I hope that I brought as much enjoyment to your year as you have brought to mine!

    As it seems there continue to be people interested in reading these things, and until the forum’s library/archive is fully up I seem to be the “keeper of the comics,” anybody who is interested in seeing what all the fuss is about should feel free to PM me and I’ll be happy (well, maybe more like satisfied :P) to hook you up. I repeat, this is only until the official forum archive is up, as I’m sure they will be included in it.
