I remember the very first cartoon I watched growing up in the mid 90’s was Megaman. I was obsesses with that show and still have a few episodes of it taped with 90’s commercials and everything. After that it was Beast Wars which was great. Then I discovered the wonders of Kids WB and began my lifelong obsession with Superman, Batman, and the Justice League. Throw in Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, and Pokemon and I was a cartoon obsessed 9 year old primed and ready for the Toonami revolution in 2000. - July 8, 2012 at 3:20 PM

Hey Shadi, thanks for reading the manga, and I am very glad that you are enjoying it. The manga is based solidly in the OVA continuity (at first lol). The first couple volumes were released right after OVA 1 finished and take place right after the fight with Kagato. At some point the story will switch to sometime after OVA 2 and thats when things start diverging from the OVA storyline, because for years there was no OVA 3 but the manga just kept on going and making up its own stories. - July 5, 2012 at 4:11 PM

Indeed! Once again Mitsuki Lover I really enjoyed your short, fun, and self aware story! I eagerly await the next in this “farside-esque” series of unconnected tales!
Very fitting for today I think, and very good too! [BBvideo 425,350]

Welcome to the forum Llwchwr! I’m always amazed how incredibly potent the long forgotten memory of Tenchi Muyo! seems to be. I too could barely remember a thing about the show before I rediscovered it. I’m also always glad to welcome members from the UK, even on the 4th of July! :Cheeks: Anyway, welcome to the forum, and as Kiyoka said, feel free to have a look around and chat with us whenever you want!

What if Dual was the main series and Tenchi was the back seat show…?Lol, at least we know that this is the real JG posting, and not an Android Yosho JG. sawthatplz
Anyway, I love “What ifs?” because they are fun and can lead to some real nerdtastic conversations.
As to what you were hypothesizing Kiyoka, wouldn’t Ryo-Ohki’s telepathic link with Ryoko allow her to find the exact cell that Ryoko was being held in (which was actually discussed in that episode IIRC.)? Either way, I agree that Kiyone would definitely find her way back into the show within a few episodes. Perhaps she would be assigned to track down the fugitives, seeing as how she would have become the GP’s best detective over night!
