If you get a chance to stop by the Funi booth, look for Sully their con manager… might bring up Tenchi forum and the crew from Ohayocon… She’s around 5.3 with black hair.

Depends on how you look at it.

Though it’d probably be wise to cover the basics of your opinion in a thread before going and doing a cast on it. We try to keep things civil, unlike boards of days past. Everyone’s entitled to their own likes and opinions. Being flexible enough to agree to disagree is important.

I’m also from the dark ages and the AIC YaBBs, so I’ll pass along my welcomes as well.

Oh and since you’ve gone through Geminar… have you seen Dual?

A post on the Sword Art Online facebook is asking if fans would want to see SAO on Toonami…

That’s pretty significant news… it’d not only put SAO on the map for mainstream anime fans

but I dare say it could be a good solid push for toonami as a flagship show.

Certainly could be announced at SakuraCon around the corner in march…

Meh mine was more eloquent… Oh well.

    Jailbait… really… Kajishima… with pics like that we’re to expect a “normal” non-fanservicy show?

Ah in which case you’ll need to take a detour through Dual! and Photon before you miss them in your timeline. Welcome.

I find it funny that even in fan art, the fans tend to draw the characters (outside of hentai) with more normal proportions than in the show itself….

KM.. you could stand to take notes on this.

Eh trouble in paradise sounds a lot better….

And yeah… that pretty much is exactly what I’d expect from KM. Always wondered what he was smoking when that cover came out.

This is why you use several machine translations….

Let’s see if I can rewrite this to make some sense.

    Quote:

From the 9th volume, announcing a new island adventure! The ladies await!

“War in Paradise” (or could be “Trouble in Paradise”) a new original light-novel work from Tenchi Muyo creator Kajishima Masaki will be released for young adults in spring of 2013 by Kodansha Books!

The series centers around a high school student(s), stuck in the middle of a great upheaval (military comes in, or great personal distress).

There is a great cost in waiting for one you yearn for… many things are left behind at the crossroads of life…

“This island atmosphere is a beautiful one, with cloudless skies, lush forests, and a transparent ocean dyed a striking emerald blue. Ah! This can be considered paradise…”

“On this island, I met from a chance encounter, 4 beautiful foreign girls, who all came to stay here. To be around them… isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Although something is strange concerning how they came to be here… Oh?! They showed up just when I had finally grown accustomed to living alone. This used to be a tranquil paradise… but now?”

The second part is just a mess, can’t really tell what it’s saying:

    Quote:

Inside the front cover (or from the front ad):

“Although the boy enjoys himself in a life of comfort, he himself was born from a beauty over a hundred years old…”

    or

    Quote:

Inside the front cover (or from the front ad):

“While this promises to be a lot of fun, the girl is still from 100 years ago, and there will be conflict.”

I’m not a translator… just reading it multiple ways and adding my personal experience with Japanese seems to clear it up some.
