  • So finally got around to seeing 2.22 on Saturday.

To begin with I have a question for anyone who saw it on Toonami:Did they saw the epilog following the end

credits and the preview for 3.33?

    And now for my thoughts:

1.The comedy in 2.22 was certainly wrenched up.I was pretty much 😆 throughout it.

2.Sakamoto Maaya’s English was spot on.

3.The first time I saw the moon shuttle I had flashbacks to Space:1999.

4.That’s the second time someone has walked in on poor Pen Pen when he’s trying to take a bath! And Shinji is the one who gets it! iloveit1

5.Yes,in the Japanese that is Sailor Moon herself,Mitsuishi Kotono as Misato. kiyonesmile1

6.Certain parts felt like the animators were tripping on LSD.You can guess which ones.

    7.Overall I liked it and would rate it about a A/A- . coolguyshades1

What I loved was the plushie Ryo-Ohki with the carrot. kiyonesmile1

Though agree that drawing was wonderful as well.

Yes,I agree with the latter idea.Especially when you read the Unnamed Tree Arch and it’s relationship to Ryoko’s story.

I goofed.Sunday is the actual 50th and to celebrate CBS is having a Special featuring Ringo and Paul and guests

singing Beatles standards. It starts at 8:00.

After my re-viewing of 1.01 I’ve been really wondering if we need a live action movie. What I mean is can a live action movie do EVA any real justice?
Just in case nobody has mentioned this before,Black Lagoon is coming to Toonami.

Toonami will air the 12 episode first season starting around March 22,if i remember rightly, it will replace

Soul Eater. Also scheduled is Blue Exorcist.

No news as to wheter or not Toonami will run either The Second Barrageor Roberta’s Blood Trail.

A lot of comments I’ve read about it center around how much will be censored.

    iloveit1

Though it looks more like a cross between Ryoko and Ryo-Ohki.That said pretty good drawing.

Though as a priest wouldn’t he have been exempted from any military service,if indeed their arrival was around

    1938?

When Tenchi Forever does flashback to Yosho in Japan it does seem to be during a period of relative calm and peace,so I wonder if it might have been just before the Military took over the government.

Yesterday was the official 50th Anniversary.CBS had an interview with the official photographer who took all the

    Beatles’ pictures back then.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back on.Yesterday was the anticipated appearance of Stan Lee.It also ended withSkye being shot and seriously wounded.
