If episodes 1-4 and 6 were the first episode of a typical series, it will seem that AI was just another harem series. Yet, the episodes have to focus on why Tenchi is a student teacher at an all girls’ high school. I like episode 7. It introduces Sasami, Ayeka, and Ryoko. Ryoko and Ayeka are a lot like her Ryo-Ohki and Universe counterparts. While Sasami smaller than Ayeka, she is her early teens. More likely, Sasami will be in Grade 3 of Jr. High School. - in reply to: OVA3 / GXP
I have noticed that there were a lot of flaws with OVA3 and GXP. At first, I felt that OVA3 was a prelude for GXP. OVA3 did solve the mystery behind Washu and her three gems. OVA3 could have been a better series if more information about Mihoshi’s family was disclosed. I have only learn that the General who was talking to Mihoshi’s grandfather Minami was her father Nakita after I seen an image with the description that about the General being Mihoshi’s and Misao’s father. All OVA3 had to do was disclosed the fact that Nakita was Mihsoshi’s father by a simple reference by Minami about Nakita being Mihoshi’s father during the brief talk or during the meeting in episode 20. There was the miss opportunity of disclosing more about Mihoshi’s past. I am still puzzled oaver what really happen to Mihoshi during the incident which changed her. Mihoshi had seem to make the attempt of sacrificing herself to save the lives of many during an emergancy. Instead of dying, Mihoshi had survive despite of what changed her. Her unknown powers seem to save Misoshi’s life.
I didn’t like Mihoshi becoming more like her Universe counterpart. Mihoshi’s carefree attitude came from her mother Mitoto. Mitoto does have a carefree attitude towards life.
For GXP, there were a lot miss opportunities. One of which could have been a disclosure of Jurai’s distant past. Jurai’s first Emperor was a space pirate. Lady Seto was aware of Jurai’s link with a guild of space pirates. The guild which Jurai has a link to seems to be more like privateers than regular space pirates. It is likely that this guild does continue to harass the Galaxy Police on occasion.
Even strangely, I discover that there are some hints about the Galactic Union being well aware of the planet Earth and its people. Items like popcorn and chocolate appear in the GXP series. Both of these items have originated from the Earth. Kiriko’s relationship with the Masaki Family had help her to enter space. Apparently, it seems that there is a program which allows a selective few to enter space as long as they have a sponsor like Katsuhito Masaki. This program seems to be a result of an agreement between Earth’s major powers and Jurai as a way to help Earth to prepare for Contact.
While OVA3 disclosed the truth of the three Chousin sisters, and some information on Mihoshi’s family, it seem to left us with more questions than answers. From OVA3, we did learn how Tenchi’s mother had died, and Tenchi was not an only child like in Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo. I suspect that as a result the disclosure of Kiyone’s true age, Tenchi seems to have other siblings.
Strangely, Nakita was able to changed Misao’s punishment into involving an assignment to disclosed some corrupt Galaxy Army Generals. GXP could have been a better series if there was more information about the Seniwan Empire’s role as the second major power in the Galactic Union, and some details about the Airai. I did enjoy the series. The strangest truth about the Galaxy Police was that the GP’s main duties are mostly on being the Galactic Union’s governmental postal service.

It seems that Washu,Kiyone, and Mihoshi are modeling for a swimsuit calender which has a food theme attach to it.

Sailor Moon Crystal does carefully follow the manga. The total number of episodes in the series happens to 26. Some of the 26 episodes are going to be fillers. One of the episodes will focus on Princess Diamond. Princess Diamond had appearred in the first animne series. Now after seeing the first episode, I am starting to become eager for the reboot of Sailor Moon R.

For Washuu wrote:Admiral Tigerclaw did some good thinking and came up with one likely answer.
His explanation can be found in
appendix under section B:1.thisThe GPS coordinates he listed: 34° 41′ 29.53″ N 133° 38′ 42.75″ E
Just felt like tossing that out there. >shrug<
Admiral Tigerclaw did focus on the remoteness where Tenchi’s home is located. He pointed out that the lake is located outside Soja Japan. In Episode 1 of TM: GXP, Seina was taking a shortcut in order to get to Kai’s house. The shortcut which Seina had taken was outside the town’s limits. Seina was basically traveling to one part of the town to another part. Before Seina came to Kai’s house, he had found himself traveling down a hill.
During the Nineteen-nineties, Tenxhi’s home was outside the nearest town. Oddly, Tenchi’s home is located within a few minutes from a train station. So, Tenchi’s home happens to be located near the Hakubi Line.
The Hakubi Line is one of the best clues to figuring out the best location of Tenchi’s home. For me, I had chosen Takahashi as the town located near Tenchi’s home. I will still agreed with Admiral Tigerclaw’s choice of Soja Japan for being the town located near Tenchi’s home.

- in reply to: Masaki Shrine
We are aware of the fact that Tenchi’s home is located near the Masaki Shrine and a lake. The Masaki Shrine and the lake are located in a large nature preserve. The nature preserve have likely been a part of a larger estate which the Masaki Family had once own. Since there are some fields located next to he Masaki Shrine, rest of the former estate was likely divided into farms which most belong to members of the Masaki Family, and smaller estates. There are other residences located around the area where the Masaki Shrine is located. One of the residences may happen to be the one own by Taro’s grandmother. Tao’s gandmother is one of Tenchi’s aunts. Because the Masaki Family happens to be one of Japan’s most powerful and wealthiest families, there is likely a large country mansion located somewhere near Tenchi’s place and the Masaki Shrine.
The exact location of Tenchi’s place was partially known. A clue from GXP states that there is a large town located near Tenchi’s place. The town has a large population sufficent to support the large super maket own by the Yamada Family. The name of the town was not given.
From another clue in the first OVA 3 episode, Tenchi’s place is loacted within a reasonable walking distance from there. The location of the the town seem to be within a half hour distance from the Kurashiki City train station. The town is located along the Hakubi line. The town is likely Takahashi, Japan.
While Takahashi City Japan is helping to promote the new Tenchi Muyo series, it seem that the town may not be the one located near Tenchi’s home. Takahashi City had not exist until 2004. The city was a merger between the town of Takahashi and four other towns. Before 2004, Takahashi was a large town. From one of the Google maps, Takahashi City is located within a half hour from Kurashiki City.
The exact location of Tenchi’s place is still a puzzle. From the best clues available to us, the town located near Tenchi’s home is a large town. That large town happen to be the former town of Takahashi, Japan. Now, Tenchi’s home is likely inside the city limits of Modern Day Takahashi City, Japan.
