Good question. & ‘no’ I’m not just saying that because I’m a Ryoko fan and want to see that 😆 because clearly, it’s unexpected/forced on Tenchi via Ryoko, so it’s not like it would be saying right off the bat “look! Tenchi and Ryoko, end of discussion” (that’s the last thing Kajishima–or most of us, for that matter–would want).

It’s bold and brash, in the heat of the moment, and unexpected, all qualities conducive to Ryoko as a character, so imo, not only would I like to have had it this way, but I think it also would have fit. But oh well, still love the ova’s, they’re perfect the way they are.

Thinking aloud, maybe it’s to provide more of an air of neutrality to the love triangle (err, quadrangle)? I mean, it’s not like they were doing it to tone it down for kids or anything (full nudity bath scenes, among other things, suggest against that angle) 😆

Just fyi for everyone, this wasn’t in mumble you guys, we had to go through other avenues to do this. So you didn’t miss out in the sense that this was going on, right here on the forum, and anyone could have jumped in. As you can probably imagine, that would allow for the possibility of the cast being interrupted or disrupted in some way (we all know how mumble can be “iffy” at times, technically-speaking, right?)

We kept this on the down-low, for a variety of reasons, one of those being this was a new undertaking and we didn’t know for sure it would even happen…

I am kicking myself SO HARD for missing this.

…now that we do know it can happen, as Petrea said herself, she’d be open to doing this again at some point in the future, so as amazing as it seems–based on Petrea’s earnest desire to get in touch with her diverse fanbase–I wouldn’t chalk this up to being entirely a “once in a lifetime” opportunity (though it might be for me, you probably won’t see me in future cast interviews…and yet I’m still gonna’ try to make it happen). Plus, we’d like to get the rest of the cast in at some point; can’t promise it, but we’re gonna’ try, for you guys/gals (if you’ll notice, the title of this cast is “Interview Adventures Episode 1” hint hint)
