    I find some interesting infos to put in here ! Do you know Shadow of the Colossus ? Absolutely awesome game, my most favorite along side with Okami. Its OST, fully orchestral, is to me one of the best soundtrack of all time. It is well known with that theme, but please listen to this one and that one and we’ll talk about music WANT1 .

    Anywho, I find out that Kow Otani, the composer, also produced the soundtrack for Tenchi Muyo! Daughter of Darkness. Imagine my state of mind when I find out that my favorite game music composer created the OST of one of my favorite anime’s movie dawohki1 .

    It’s weird to say that now, but I particularly like Midsummer’s Eve for its music. As for example I love more the Ending theme than Alchemy Of Love.

    Hard to find any links in the soundtrack between the game and the movie : Different purpose, different context, different atmosphere. Yet, allow me to present you some songs that did tickle my musician sense.

    So the “human preservation project” is a direct reference to Evangelion badass1

    I would also hope for a 24 episodes lenght, though idk about a second season.

    Btw, the plot actually go really fast, so they would have to do some hardcore plot twists. But plot twists are quite common anyway, right ?

    It lies in a (more or less) far future I guess.

    But a DualCast makes me think of other possibilities, such as complete special editions with a HazardCast. Or even an EvaCast, an AlchemistCast, BebobCast, OutlawCast…

    Turning the TenchiCast into an anime/mangaCast from time to time.

    Again, just an idea, for the far future, who knows when.

    First off, my fan-sub version talk about the “human preservation project”, is that the actual dialogue, or a fansub group invention ?!

    This show really suprised me, you have to know that before PL, my newest anime in terms of release dates was Ai, so I’m kinda discovering things here.

    People sell the show with the Panties issues, and it’s easy to think that the show is full of FanService. That’s why I wasn’t interest in it at first.

    Also, knowing that the main character is surrouned by 4 woman kinda afraid me, ’cause I was forseeing an harem feeling, you know, with the girl showing off their sexy parts just to make the protagonist blush.

    But it’s not that at all.

    I surely not consider it as a FanService show, that’s not even ecchi or whatever. That’s a great suspense show, with freakin’ time travel !!

    The little of panties and bras we see are not vulgar, and always quite soft. No sexual tension.

    For half the season, Yutan is not even in his body, he’s just a ghost. Making sexual situation only visual and therefore not kinky at all. It’s just well put. The fact that he is not even “alive” implies that the girls can’t interact with him, making a harem impossible to form.

    Even when he gets his body back, I was happy to see that the only new feeling appearing was the Love between Chiyoco and him ! That was lovely, or that is lovely.

    The show is quite complicated. I don’t think I understood everything so far.. But the show takes time to explain itself a lot ! And that’s really enjoyable. With snarky remarks, it doesn’t take itself seriously !

    The story is also good. And the character are just lovely. I’m in love with Strange Juice.
    It reminds me of Tenchi. We follow this boy, some stuff happens to him, and Oh Hey, in fact that boy isn’t normal, look at what happenned before !

    I’m eager to see how the rating will fluctuate when you’re getting to OVA2. When I think about it, the two first OVAs feel really different.. it will be interesting to see how it sways your rating.

    I’m also interest in the future episode’s rating of TU and TiT, compared to ova1.

    We don’t know for sure hehe. Though it is most likely the Chousins talking to each other. Probably Tokimi to Washu in my opinion, or maybe all three of them.

    We do now for sure that the Chousins (At least Tokimi) are responsable for Kenshi getting sent to Geminar.

    Well that’s a fair answer..

    Though I still think it’s kinda “weird” to not have a full thing on OVA1. But heh, past is past.

    I guess TenchiCast may rebirth when a new anime is coming out !

    But it feels wrong to let it die for the time being. Such a good concept.

    Hey TenchiCast I just realized something. Suggesting untranslated stuff is cool but for several reasons, it most likely won’t happen ~yet~.

    But what the hell, you guys didn’t do a Podcast on OVA1 and OVA2 ?! (unless I can’t see it).

    I mean, why ? The medium animated are by far the most rich thing to talk about.

    OVA2 is way better than OVA3 and GXP, and OVA1 is like the best thing ever (in my very own opinion).

    You guys did TU, TiT and that’s normal. But you also did everything from Kaji’s verse but the two first ova. Very surprising.

    Maybe it’s coming ? WANT1
