    Another great point of this whole thing is that Funimation apparently has the rights to distribute ALL of Tenchi in ALL mediums. This means that we may soon see classic Tenchi back on TV, dare I say Toonami even! imcryingsomuchplz

    Luck is not so much a factor as boredom. If you have a lot of time on your hands, you can easily find all of the English Manga volumes on sites such as Amazon, Rightstuf, and Ebay. And of course there is our resident finder of manga: JGZinv! He has acquired many sets of material far rarer than the manga. I hope to get a complete set in hard copy some day, but for now I will make due with the links :D

    Thank goodness I wasn’t the only one who picked up on that! Wow, I wonder what implications Rea being from Geminar could have in the Kajishima-verse! Quite a many I would imagine :Cheeks: .

    I had also picked up on the heavy implications that Kenshi was sent to Geminar. The off screen words that appear in the very beginning and end of the show always stuck in my mind as the Chousins conversing and deciding on their plan to send him there.

    Regardless of how Funimation may have treated the Tenchi franchise in the past, I think that the fact that they have finally gotten around to releasing the ENTIRE franchise on DVD after years of wandering in the wilderness, AND the fact that they managed to secure SKT/ISM/WOG and bring it to the western world is anything but “another reason they suck.” I do not worship Funimation BY ANY MEANS, but I will gladly concede that they have done very well in this particular venture (so far….)

    Indeed it is nice to see you on here ANB!

    It was really fun being in the room when they announced the new Tenchi DVD releases and the ISM release. I think only myself and Mittens knew of ISM’s existence before that moment, and the excitement the crowd showed over a “new” Tenchi series was amazing! I only hope that we too can be experiencing that sensation with an actual new release soon! Fingers crossed!

    Indeed, that was a great reveal! I love the little stories like this one. This particular one is one that I think would make an excellent funny little short animated special.

    I don’t think you quite got the idea Mitsuki Lover. This thread was created by Kiyoka to discuss serious speculations regarding the events of, AND ONLY OF, the Tenchi Muyo multiverse. Out of respect to the original poster, I think we would all prefer if this thread remained strictly in that vein. If you would like to speculate on cross anime possibilities (and lets face it who doesn’t :Cheeks: ) please start a thread in either the “Games” or “Other Anime” sections for that purpose, that way everyone who wants to use this thread for what it was started for can do so without confusion.
