    YEAH!

The 1990s were a great decade for anime consider:

    1990:

    Record of Lodoss War

    1991:

    Ranma 1/2

    1992:

    Tenchi Moyu

Giant Robo:The Day The Earth Stood Still

    1993:

    Please Save My Earth

    1994:

    Magic Knight Rayearth

    1995:

    Sailor Moon SuperS

    Wedding Peach

    Gundam Wing

    Neon Genesis Evangelion

    Fushigi Yugi

    Tenchi Universe

    1996:

    Detective Conan

    The Vision of Escaflowne

    Rurouni Kenshin

    1997:

    Slayers Try

    Revolutionary Girl Utena

years based as far as I can remember on the actual Japanese dates when first premiered.

I could go on and on with listing titles that came out of the ’90s,but my main point here is basically to show

what a decade of tremendous creativity the 1990s was for anime in general while also celebrating one of the

greatest titles to come out of the decade:Tenchi Moyu.

And when you consider all the other titles that came out during this time why so many of them such as Tenchi

remain so popular even 20 years later.

Makes one wonder what titles from the 2010s we’ll be talking about celebrating 20th anniversaries in the 2030s.

And now Defiance is back for Season 2 on SYFY( why are their best shows named for towns?:

    Defiance,Eureka,Haven).

Wow! I guess Marisa really has gone into the deep end of being at least borderline psychotic now.She even
dreams she slits Nolan’s throat while he’s driving. And then the new puppet mayor of Defiance

is a regular voyeur at least when it comes to spying on the former mayor.

Yeah, after the first episode of the season it looks like Nolan is one of the only main characters who hasn’t quite gone

    totally nutso yet.

Prediction that when Nolan and Marisa get back to Defiance the you-know-what is going to hit the fan and

sooner or later the Earth Republic will get the shit kicked out of them(at least I hope).

Oh and this season the game and the series are supposed to be more tied together than last season.

Myself waiting to get the first part of Madoka so I can go and order part 2 by the end of the month.

I think I’m going to be keeping Rightstuf busy with all my ordering from now on as I want to get as much of

my list taken care of before the year ends.

Now that sounds like a fun movie.Pass the popcorn! kiyonesmile1

    Welcome.

I guess I might be the exception to the rule here of finding Tenchi via the old Toonami.I didn’t find out what it was about until I joined my first anime forum, the now long late and lamented Anime Cafe Forum back in the early

    00s.

Those were the good old days. soawesome1

Bottle Fairy is a good example of a series that had a substantial storyline but also fairly short episodes.

Though in it’s case the episodes were 10 instead of 5 minutes long IIRC(haven’t re-watched Bottle Fairy

    for awhile).

Then again the storyline to Bottle Fairy was also rather simple compared with Tenchi.

It’s obviously from either Hong Kong or Taiwan so whoever created the cover must not be too familiar with the

    English language.

Wild guess you found it on Ebay right?

“We do the dance of Joy now!” Balky on Perfect Strangers

My order for Madoka volume 1 and Sailor Jupiter plushie was just confirmed by Rightstuf. soawesome1

And just in time since the new Crystalseries premieres in two weeks. iloveit1

I still don’t know which season besides Stars and Crystal I’ll get when the DVDs come out.Though

leaning strongly toward either SuperS or S.
