Well…look at the unedited version of DBZ. That’s not very kid friendly either. There’s even more blood and violence, swearing, and sex jokes everywhere. I think they just knew that anime was marketable and wanted to find a way to air it. - September 12, 2012 at 6:08 PM

^ Ah! I remember Sheep in the Big City! As I recall, it was a bit odd (albeit, not nearly as bizarre as CN’s current lineup) compared to the rest of the shows at that time. I never did care much for Kon Karne or Kids Next Door. - September 12, 2012 at 6:04 PM

^ I also heard through the grapevine somewhere that the man who actually had it cancelled was fired at some point over an unrelated matter, but It’s been a while and the details are fuzzy. I doubt that’s true, but it’d be interesting if it were.
