He’d watch TV all day with Mihoshi, willingly participate in Washu’s “Science Experiments,” enjoy Sasami’s cooking all the time, and probably be more entertained by Ryoko and Ayeka’s brawls than Tenchi was xD
Here’s prob the closest we’ll get:

^This would be fun, and it’s interesting it never came up in really any of the series (that I’m aware of) as a plot point to work around (which, actually, I’m glad it didn’t; allowed us to focus on more “important” things).
I seem to vaguely recall someone(s)
somewhereout there on the internet addressing this in their fanfiction, stating that the uppermost echelons of government (or a secret branch? idk) knew about Jurai (and, of course, vice versa), fully aware of our (Earth’s) position under Jurain sovereignty and accepting their protection and “laissez faire” style of rule…all while keeping it secret from the general population. Hey! There’s a new “what if?”

Excellent observations high gear, i thnk you’re onto something there. Films and the like are products of their time, and tenchi’s no exception (i have a similar theory regarding dbz lol). Sure, tenchi released in 92 but its conceptualization occurred long before any production (plus its not like once another decade starts on the calendar *snap fashion senses and tastes in music change, it’s gradual). Thus asserting ryoko’s wild locks are a hearkening to 80s sensibilities of beauty (which heck yes im a fan of! 80s joan jett? Eat ur heartout) isnt out of place at all. While the creative minds behind the garb of the more out of this world clothing in tm were very original, another source of inspiration–particularly for kajishima personally–can be found in oh my goddess. - December 1, 2013 at 9:29 PM

Crazed wrote:Well technically speaking he is related to all of them. Sasami is his great aunt, so there’s that connection. He’s related to Tsunami because Sasami has been assimilated with Tsunami. Washu and Tokimi are her sisters so that kinda sorta makes them related but not by a blood relation.
Very good question evil genius, but I would second this^ that in some way, as with apparently all of his works, they are loosely connected, but not so much related. Yes, Sasami/Tsunami assimilated, but unless we’re wading into some sort of predestination paradox (highly speculative) Tsunami looks the way she does in the series because of merging with Sasami, i.e.
afterthe foundation of the Jurain race. highgear56 wrote:Kajishima’s canon universe seems so incestual.
There’s no denying it’s there on some level, especially considering things like
the fact that in ova canon Nobuyuki is descended from Yosho (that one rocked my world).- November 24, 2013 at 10:45 PM

Beyond awesome! Maddest of all mad props be bestowed upon you, sir, you can say you are a true fan (heck, “worshiper” wouldn’t be out of the question either, if you were so inclined). Ryoko is indeed pleased. http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g463/wwwwhhhhoooo/Ryokowink2.png " /> As are we all because you shared it with us! Way to be, Ninjaboy!

I hold no hopes of FUNi picking any of the other Tenchi titles up at this point.
I can’t say I disagree with this. Sure they
mightbut wouldn’t bet the farm on it, and even if they eventually did it’s still cool to have the pre-FUNi releases. - November 19, 2013 at 1:26 AM

Indeed. What’s our saving grace? Unlimited number of votes. We don’t need the most people, we just need the most votes.
