Great to have you bishopcruz! You really hit a number of nails on the head in your intro. Very insightful opinion–and I agree–how amazingly, Ryoko vs. Ayeka has diminished, yet now OVA vs TV seems to have filled the vacancy. It’s sad, but the good news is here we really do have a diverse range of opinions/feelings regarding the matter (especially ova3) and though even the administration (myself included) obviously have our own personal preferences, we strive to make it known that any viewpoint regarding favorites is valid and acceptable.

Real quick fyi: dunno’ what all you’ve watched/haven’t as of this writing, but do watch OVA3* before GXP, Tokyo & Universe are stand-alone series, whenever, but the movies I’d recommend after Universe series: Tenchi in Love, Daughter of Darkness, Tenchi Forever in that order (Daughter of Darkness is technically not Universe canon, as the other two are, but for simplicity’s sake that’s my opinion on when to view it).
*if you’re a dub/Ryoko fan, I recommend watching ova3 subbed (save yourself some heartache)
You guys, I can’t even put into words how proud I am of you. So much hard work and planning on your part really paid off, and you boldly went out there and proclaimed the good name of Tenchi for any and all to hear. What’s more, the implications for the forum and the fandom for us having an official panel at a well-established convention are sure to be significant. And you brought pics! :washu: You guys rock SOOO hard! On behalf of the fandom and the forum: thank you. I hope you had a great time! And I hope somewhere, sometime in the future, we as a forum could do something like this again sometime…& maybe I’ll be able to make it (I’m with ya there, ryokofan, wouldn’t that be killer?).
