    I don’t see the problem. :?

    Please explain. :ghost:

Yeah, I don’t want to rain on an otherwise fantastic parade lead by chuck (great, informative review) but as far as bare-bones accuracy, I don’t notice where it’s necessarily ‘wrong’ or ‘inaccurate.’ Granted, it’s a bit vague perhaps with Geminar so far out of the way, but on the other hand it isn’t really connected with any of the cast of Tenchi, sooo…yeah, sorry, I just wanted mainly to point out I’m glad I’m not the only one a bit in the dark here.

But again, thanks 1,000x chuck, now people know what they’re getting, and as far as the price goes, and seeing how, at the end of the day, the content itself is still our beloved Tenchi Universe, it’s a good buy for the cheaper alternative to hunting down the more collectible original sets.

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY EVERYONE!

Here’s to many, many more with our very own ‘Masaki household’ and with the cast of unique characters here whom I’ve come to know and love as my own *[dys]functional ‘family’ of sorts.

*haha, jk bout that part (u all know I love ya, crazy or otherwise)

I hope I can share and share alike with all of you, artwork and stories and doujin, oh my! This does seem like a closely knit group of creative souls and I’m always looking for more like-minded people to bother with my nonsense. Thanks so much for the warm welcome and I’ll be sure to keep my eyes, kidneys, gonads and other sensitives under lock and key. :Cheeks:

Yes! Wonderful! By all means, ‘bother’ us with your love of Tenchi and fan-made works such as fanfiction, or anything at all really that comes to mind. We enjoy ‘bothering’ each other here, you’ll fit right in. :D

& even though it’s not like you haven’t gotten alot of warm welcomes already, here’s one more: welcome!

p.s. your organs will be fine 😆

*wait, Mitts, kidneys now? Did I miss something? 🙄

^True, true. & while I’m sure Soundmonkey is referring more to anime overall and the practice of watching series after series as a hobby (or extending to certain levels, a lifestyle) there are of course those special series that I will always be able to go back to, because not only are they well-crafted, but I’ve so many personal connections and memories associated with them, it’s comforting, nostalgic, and fun to experience them over and over again. Plus, there’s just a timelessness to the good ones that makes them transcend the period in which they were created. Like you said ML, they’ll stand the test of time.

But this is the one most of ya’ll go to most of the time right?

Sorry if this wasn’t made clear enough, but this is our first ever attempt at having an official Tenchiforum presence at any con. So if we want to make this a semi-regular event (or at least repeating) this is the one that will really count!

This anime will probably go down in my top 5 fav’s of all time! I’m not going to spoil anything, and I’m not quite done (so don’t anyone dare spoil for me!!!) but it’s just a fantastically hilarious, entertaining school rom-com with alot of heart. You can’t not like it.

(sorry everyone for the late reply! heck of a week)

Thanks very much everyone for watching!!! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Felt great not only to get ‘back in the game’ making an amv, but this one will forever be dear to me because of its backstory.

You got that right! Thank you for letting me know Dagon, I had heard through the grapevine before posting here that she watched it and actually liked it. Goes without saying–but I’ll say anyway–I find that mind-blowingly awesome! Including some of her most memorable lines as Ryoko surely made it nostalgic for her in a similar (yet different) way to the rest of us who watched it.

Wow. Alot to consider. Alot to look back and reflect on. Alot to account for and hopefully, alot more good times to come in the future.

The most profound questions for me personally involve speculating as to what my life would be like without Tenchi: what would I be doing? And most of all, (yes, you called it, but I’m serious) who would I be as a person? Difficult questions to answer; I imagine the shorthand response to all of these questions, in a nutshell, would be–in all honesty–my life would not be nearly as fulfilling. First of all, look at how many totally awesome, fan-freaking-tastic, amazing friends I’ve made from the fandom of Tenchi alone! Just stop and think about it for yourselves: How awesome is that? This aspect in and of itself alone would be enough proof that my life would not be as complete as it is now without Tenchi–and you all (well, is it ‘complete’ yet? I’d venture to say no, but it’d be waaay less complete without…oh you know what I mean).

Where would I be without the advanced, humanoid civilization known as Jurai? Or the rural Japanese teenager? Or the brash space-pirate/demon? I shudder to think. Seeing that stuff at such an early age, even I am at a loss as to just how much it’s inspired me, in my own writing/artistic endeavors and influencing my own sense of imagination. I’ll never truly know how much it influenced me…

But to the question of “where would I be?” Well, actually, again I cringe at the thought, but I might not be going in the ‘right’ direction in my life were it not for Tenchi!

As simple as they may seem, the lyrics to this particular opening of Tenchi really inspired me during a crossroads of my life; if I’m ever successful at my future career endeavors –*knock on wood– I’ll owe a great deal of gratitude to everyone involved in the making of Tenchi Muyo!
