    True,true..and too many times they tend to overtalk each other so the viewer doesn’t know what point is being made.

    Thank God that we get METv now so I can watch Emergency instead! 😆

    It’s interesting but I actually enjoy anime more now that I watch it primarily on DVD and occassionally on the internet than I did when I was watching it a lot of the time on tv.I think that this has to do with

    being able to watch what I really want to when I want to and not being at the mercy of the network

    schedules.

    It’s too bad I don’t have the room for all those recommendations that Nobuyuki is making.Heck,I really

    wish I had space for titles like Up On Poppy Hill,Mysterious Girlfriend X,and others that I come across

    while reading Anime.com. 😎

    Ah well,when I become Dictator of North America and Japan I will have my lovely slave girls construct

    an entire building to house my anime collection! 😆

    Read the review of Yamato 2199 at Anime.com yesterday.Interesting that both the new anime series and

    the live action movie came out at the same time.

    Did Sci Fi/SyFy ever air any version of Yamato under either that name or Starblazers?

    Actually just watch how their relationship undergoes a change in Tenchi Forever from squabbling to

    actually working together to retrieve Tenchi.I have to say Aeka and Ryoko both look uber cute in their

    waitress outfits.

    If memory serves me aright,there is a sequence that shows Ryoko attacking Jurai in the movie

    Tenchi Forever.In fact that movie does show a younger Yosho in a couple of sequences.

    Unless someone decides to do a Washu Ova that might be the closest we get to that period of time.

    You could try.People are always writing petitions all the time.It might end up being worthless,but then again

    you might not know unless you put the effort into it.

    I’m not in the habit of signing petitions myself too often,so maybe I’m not the guy to talk about it.

    That’s the only thing about METv that could be better,a larger selection of classic cartoons.Though I enjoy the fact that they have a wide variety of other older shows.

    And by the way,this weekend on their Weekend Showcase on Sunday they’ll be airing Ironside.
