I didn’t know that Funi turned down Amanda Winn Lee.I thought she turned down the change to re-do Rei for family reasons.(I enjoyed her work as Mika in Geneshaft when I was new to anime and was still watching the dubs on tv.)

@JG: When you say issues with T&A do you mean he’s against it or just doesn’t do it normally?
A. That’s a doujinshi, one of very many on the overall tenchiverse, not a manga.
B. I mean he’s obsessed to a disturbing degree. Keeps going we’re just going to see breasts and butts bouncing around with muffed sounds. There’s artistic expression then there’s obsession, KM’s been in the latter for a while.
:WUTH:
Obsessed to the point of madness maybe?

My one and only pick would be Michelle Ruff as Aeka. - September 12, 2012 at 6:24 PM

So something good came from it then, which would be why anyone would want to see it again in the first place. It’s also funny that Toonami wanted to make a series that was aimed at an older audience ‘kid friendly’
in the first place.

Welcome. Now we have 2 Funi spies ANB and you.

I lurk around the Funi forum and read the blogs every once in awhile.

Well I just wanted to know if I should add it to my anime horror collection. Friday:I finished off Madlax for the second time with ep.26,and so this Friday I watch
Blood,The Last Vampire.
Saturday:Dual! ep.2 as I said on the Alternative Worlds Forum my fave line was MS’:
“There he is…Get him!” when the EDF finds Kazuki in the park.
😆 Sunday:Slayers Try ep.18 “The Right Person In The Right Place,Amelia In The Village
Of Justice!”
basically a parody of shows like Kamen Rider and Power Rangers, with Zelgadis getting the best
line at the end:”I guess the silliness ends with this episode.”thus breaking the Fourth Wall.

- in reply to: "Star Blazers" Anyone?
I came across a Star Blazers website on Saturday that was rather interesting.I’ll try to find it again some time this week and post the url. What I found interesting is that they had archive interviews with two
Superfans. One of them was Brian Cirulnik(sp?)who is one of the people behind Anime.Com.
It seems that Star Blazers was what got his interest in not just anime but animation started.
Ah…chucklocker do you know the distance between Queens and Long Island?
There’s a point in the interview where Cirulnik talks about how his parents drove him and his sister to a
Star Blazers fan club meeting from their home in Queens to where it was in Long Island.Being from the
PNW I have no idea what the distance would be.
