soawesome1 Nooo! The beautiful pics! Anyway, an actual EH/Tenchi crossover! That is so cool (and could work given EH’s premise of otherworldly travels).- July 18, 2014 at 3:05 AM

That’s interesting, it’s
kindathe opposite with me: I don’tnotlike Ryoko of course, but looking back it makes sense that I really got hooked on her when I did. I was young, living at home under house rules and my biggest obstacles in life were usually school/homework related; Ryoko was fun, crass and didn’t abide by anyone’s rules. She symbolized freedom. My recent viewing of El-Hazard OVA yielded some interesting and unexpected results. Though I’ll always be a Ryoko fan, and I generally adore any related character archetype in other works, if I were brutally honest, surprisingly even to myself the character I naturally gravitated towards in this particular Magnificent world was “plain Jane” Nanami. I thought to myself “why? Why not the arguably more Ryoko-esque character Shayla Shayla? Or Ifurita? (Or dat bugrom queen…whoops already typed it, it’s out there).” I think it’s because at this stage in my life, with the uncertainties of job searching and the insecurities of paying bills, worrying about future, etc., I no longer inherently crave freedom but rather security, and Nanami outwardly personifies the typical take-home-to-meet-the-folks gal.
blush1 Sorry, I got way off topic. The thread’s about Ryoko! Hmmm how to quickly turn this around???

Don’t go into it expecting cameos, but if you happen to hear someone mention “that mad scientist!” take two guesses at who that could be….

lol it’s all good.
Any advice from the man behind Tenchicasts is the way to go (ahem Dagon), so all I can do is reaffirm that if you’re just starting out, Audacity is the best way to go imo. As said, it’s totally free, good quality (for being free), and legit.
Pretty much any microphone will do (I use a logitech headset) as long as the recording space you’re in is quiet.
Animations with your cast sounds like a great way to make full use of youtube! And if they’re your animations, with your voices, you own it, all yours for Google Ad partnership if you make it big (if you throw in any music that’s not yours, that’d be a different story).
(iTunes is a whole different ballgame, so if you start a cast series and want to move it there…well, one bridge at a time.)

Don’t forget Ryo-Ohki! I agree, it’s a very nice picture of the two sisters together.
If you go through with this, you know what will end up happening (well, apart from two sections of your body bickering for your attention)…you may ask yourself “what about a certain Galaxy Police officer?” and you may say to yourself “what about the greatest scientific genius in the universe?” and before you know it, Bob’s your uncle, you ARE the Masaki household!!!

You know what? It
isgood, and I’m tired of people complaining about it; if it gets overused as a running gag on the internet, that’s not the piece’s/composer’s fault. (I for one find a lot of said gags funny anyway.)
