    I’ve been watching Ballad of a Shinigami:Momo,The Girl God of Death and don’t know if it qualifies or not as I don’t know how popular it is.But I think it’s a real gem.I especially love the fact that it’s more about the people that

    Momo and Daniel interact with than it is about Momo and Daniel.

    I would also bet that a lot of gems that get overlooked tend to be non-Shonen type of shows.

    I could only think of Mihoshi myself…scary that!

    Yeah go with Mayuka.Naming anything after Mihoshi is just plan scary and wrong.

    Does this mean,as I suppose,that the new anime will only be based on the first manga arch?

    Or am I wrong in thinking about it that way?

    And speaking of the manga:the Short Stories are also now out.wonder if they include Ami’s First Love.

    That sounds like a cool idea,especially since we don’t get too see older anime too often.

    I forgot to include when I made my list Rozen Maiden.Shinku would be mad at me if I didn’t. 😆

    Also Neo-Ranga.I try to only include the shows that I personally have seen.

    AFAIG:having seen the clip of HOTD I have to say I have to rethink watching it now.

    Seriously though,since a lot of adults do watch the network,aside from AS programming,I for one object to it being referred to as a kiddie network.Looks like the Variety writer is suffering from the same old Animation/Toons-Are-Just-For-The-Kiddies syndrome.

    Princess Kaguya is probably one of the most popular Japanese fairy tales.It keeps popping up a lot in anime and manga.

    I’m still hoping that there will be an eventual DVD release.I’ll gladly purchase the DVDs to go along with the manga.

    This reminds me when the anime does come out I should have finished the manga,so if and when they come out with a DVD I’ll be ready.

    On a side note me wants the Sailor Mercury plushie and perhaps the Sailor Mars one too! blush1
