Alright, got through Arc 1 (your first post). I’d recommend some touch-ups regarding verb tenses, other minor details like “there” vs “their” but the concept itself is…interesting. Jurai has always been portrayed as benevolent, but as far as our human experience goes, one does not get on top without conquest. Jurai conquering lesser worlds, taking its inhabitants as slaves? Well, we’ve never been given a good look at the planet Jurai or its society, so who’s to say what goes on behind closed royal doors?
Thanks for posting, if you want to improve it will take commitment but writing is really the craft of
re-writing (this goes for everybody). If/when I have time, I’ll attempt to read/critique on the rest of your story to see what happens.

Well, since it’s currently in the Saturday 11:30-6:00 run, that’s 13 shows. Well, for one thing,
no Star Wars. That Clone Wars series should stay in the daytime. No non-anime American cartoons (Boondocks is the exception, though), so Sym-Bionic Titan is also out. Anime only. And these are the anime I would put on the run:
11:30:The Boondocks 12:00:Super Dimension Fortress Macross (2006 English dub) 12:30:Accel World 1:00:Gundam 00 1:30:Outlaw Star (uncensored/uncut version) 2:00:Cowboy Bebop 2:30:Gurren Lagaan 3:00:Tenchi Muyo!/Tenchi Universe/Tenchi in Tokyo (uncensored/uncut versions) 3:30:Love Hina 4:00:VanDread 4:30:Geneshaft 5:00:Hell Girl 5:30:InuYasha: The Final Act That’s a great lineup! I don’t think Boondocks is an anime technically speaking, but it’d fit right in.

If only we had recorded said mumble night, because we went on, and on, and on, and we really did have some ringers (and of course many humorous ones that weren’t). We even got into who would handle the score and which bands could cover the OST. Can’t remember everything, but I do remember our suggestion for live-action Ryoko!

While the thread and mumble discussion focused more on Disney, I like this opportunity to form a “dream team” for a live-action adaptation. I don’t have time to list all the criteria, but here goes:
DIRECTOR:Wong Kar-wai ( In the Mood for Love(2000)). Though perhaps best known for aforementioned romance piece, via 2046(2004) Wong demonstrates his ability to also engage in sci-fi, and in my vision of a live-action adaptation of Tenchi Muyo!the emphasis would be on romance and less on the more fantastic elements (because let’s face it, there are still things that can only be pulled off via animation, and trying to literally bring to live action certain facets of the franchise seems ill-fated to me). - April 14, 2014 at 11:09 PM

This week’s episode was A-MAZING (sure hope Crunchyroll gets with the program and fixes that “good grief” bit though).
They gotmesaying “what a pain.” jotaro1 Welcome! I’ve already stumbled onto your Ryoko pic, and commented, because it is awesome. 80’s? 90’s? Jojo? Yeah, I think you’ll do just fine here.

Was pretty happy with how this turned out, although I might go back and touch up her hair a bit more. Trying to get the spikes to look natural is not easy. I’ve got a process video for it up on youtube too, if anyone fancies
.a lookPlease ask me stuff about digital drawing too, if you want. I’ve been doing this for long enough now that I might actually know the answers.
Oh my GAWD!
As to your offer, I might continue this via pm sometime, but in general would you care to give a recommendation on what tools you use for drawing on a computer? (Tablets, programs, the like.) I’m a beginner, but I don’t want to go bare bones either, I’d like to invest in some quality equipment as needed.
Thank you for sharing your work, it’s really good and so unlike any other Tenchi fanart I’ve ever seen.

I was one of those lucky individuals in minichat when you first shared these Captain, and I’m so glad you decided to post your own thread for your work. I love every one of these, man, they’re rockin!
