    AIC is the only anime studio that initially releases splendid character designs, only for them to exponentially get worse. While Tenchi’s was more slow and gradual, Ryoko’s hair in TF… looks like the coat of a lap dog.

    People expressed interest in Nozomi Entertainment to do so, but that’s not saying much. Don’t expect Toho Company to grant distribution rights to high profile productions that aren’t Godzilla or standalone anime movies. Hell, ADV Films couldn’t even get the rights to DYRL.

    Too bad Geneon is gone. IIRC, they had distribution rights for Urusei Yatsura in the motherland, and could have released box set collections here when AnimEigo’s license expired…

    Megazone 23: Part 1, which was essentially Macross/Robotech’s redheaded stepsister, but since the sequel was MD Geist-grade awful, I suppose it’s best to leave it hidden in the closet.
